Dr. Waleed Basha, staff member at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah University and famous Palestinian wildlife presenter gave a lecture titled: “Ten Years’ Journey of Wildlife Documentation” at the Faculty of Medicine Auditorium in the New Campus.

Dr. Basha screened a number of photos he took from the wildlife in Palestine, which showed resident animal and bird species and migratory wild birds. He also offered detailed information about each specie; the way they live, feed and reproduce.

Dr. Basha demonstrated that Palestine’s diverse climate and its strategic location and proximity to the three continents of Africa, Asia and Europe contributed to creating rich biodiversity in the region.

In addition, Dr. Basha reviewed some parts of Palestine with great biodiversity, such as the Jordan Valley.
